Backyard Bandstand

The Backyard Bandstand is an annual event at Lake Hayes in Central Otago. It is an all day even of live bands in the open sunshine. Ceroc dancers have been going for a number of years and this year was no exception. The backyard bandstand this year was on Saturday 17th of February, 2007.

Ceroc French Jive is a funky partner dance generally done to chart, nightclub or swing music (you can also dance it to other music). This is a partner dance that you can dance at parties, nightclubs or just about anywhere! Ceroc Dunedin is the Dunedin branch of Ceroc New Zealand. We have lots of social event that you can see pictures of to the left.

7.00pm - 8.00pm Beginners with RACHEL
8.00pm - 10.00pm Freestyle Dance Time

Thursday's
6.00pm - 7.00pm Beginners with KATIE
7.00pm - 8.00pm Freestyle
8.00pm - 9.00pm Intermediate with JOHN
9.00pm - 10.00pm Freestyle

Wednesday and Thursday classes are in the Burns Hall, in the grounds of the First Church of Otago, Lower Moray Place, Dunedin, unless stated in the newsletter.
